It's usually Niisama who makes them for me.

What are you having? [Are those small portions of everything?]

[It's sweet to think that his brother makes his lunch and Veronica smiles down at him. What a cool, nice brother.]

That is very kind of him.

I just picked the things that I have not yet tried. [There are a few strands of tomato sauced spaghetti, a solitary meatball, half of a hotdog, something that involves cauliflower and a bunch of spoonfuls of salad.] I am quite curious as to what these taste like.

[Sayo loves him and will never fail to talk about how good Kousetsu is. He looks closely at the food Veronica will be having.]

I know some of those... they're nice. [Whenever Sayo try new foods outside of the ones he's familiar with.] Except for... that one?

[He points at the something involving a cauliflower.]

That he is. [She's talked to him before and okay, maybe she was a bit biased because Sayo cares about him so much and she had been determined to do the same but still.]

This one? Why?

[It looks innocuous enough and seems to be a cauliflower curry with potatoes.]

I don't normally eat curry often...

[Because it's usually rice or noodles, soup and whatever other side dishes to go with them.]

Is it good?

It is spicy but I quite like it. It reminds me a little bit of home.

[Because the food at Rainesburg had been quite beautifully spiced as well, and she can definitely appreciate the taste of it here, too.]

[Fortunately, he have a spoon to go with his lunchbox. He carefully holds it and take a spoonful of the curry. He brings it to his mouth, savouring the taste.

His eyes widen and he seems to have brighten up.]

It's delicious.

[Veronica didn't even make this but she's smiling happily anyways.]

I am glad that you think so. I think it is very beautifully spiced, myself. It almost reminds me of the food we made back in Rainesburg. The spices are different, but the feeling of it is so very similar.
