[Honestly, Sayo doesn't think of explaining his choice unless it's a) asked of him or b) doing a status report. Since Miyako isn't his master, she lucked out unless she directly ask him.]

Do you know what kind of creatures they are, or what they look like?

[If they're hostile, he can fight. But if it's better to run, he'd like to know what to expect.]

They are...grotesque. Large, with twisting limbs and features that resembles the tentacles found on sea life, yet they remain bipedal. I do not believe them to be demons, yet they possess a demonic appearance. I do not know what exactly they are, but they are wearing hospital gowns.

[Not human, in other words. And with the mention of hospital gowns, Miyako gives her own a discreet adjustment to ensure that no unfortunate mishaps will be happening with the gown.]

[Those sound like nothing like the enemies he fought before. The enemies and the strange Kebiishi, at least, looks more dark than grotesque.]

They're most likely made because we're in a hospital. [Generated, actually.] We don't know how they fight or if they can die. I think we should avoid them and reach the end.

[Ugh. He really wants to vent out his frustration at this entire scenario, but Sayo isn't angry enough to lose his rational thinking.]

[She nods at his plan.]

I believe that to be a well chosen plan of action. This labyrinth has pitfalls scattered about; if we are careful, we may be able to lure the monsters into one should the need arise.

[Hopefully, the need won't arise, but she's not that naive as to hope for a smooth journey.]

[Hopefully. Sayo is light and fast on his feet, but they still need to be careful.]

Right. [He looks up at her.] Are you ready to go?

I am. Shall I take the lead? You need not worry about my ability to take care of myself; I am more than capable of doing so, despite my lack of weapons.

[She gives him a confident smile. While she prefers to have her weapons with her, she can take down threats without if need be. Ideally she'd prefer not to take on too many of them, but...she's been in worse situations.]

[He looks at her, before he slowly nods.]

Alright. I can watch our backs. [Tantous are best for fast, sneaky attacks, after all. Even though he's the type to charge in.] You know unarmed combat skills? Or magic?

[If she can defend herself without her weapons, those are his logical guesses.]

Unarmed combat is not by any means a specialty of mine, but should it come to that, I will manage. I do have magical abilities as well, which I am more than confident in my ability to wield. Fear not; I will not get myself into a situation in which I cannot handle.

[Of course, she hasn't realized yet that she won't be able to channel the Dragon's Stream full power anymore... It'll be a different story once that happens. She's grown too reliant on it.]

[If she try to do that here later, it would make things a little more difficult and distracting.]

Understood. [He just have to avoid being in the line of fire, so to speak.] Are you ready to go?

[If something threatening pops up, she will try to tap into it. It's almost reflexive for her — Miyako's mastery and use of the Dragon Stream will be something that bites her back in Cerealia.]

I am ready. Please, lead the way.

[Sayo nods and starts walking. He did briefly look at Miyako to see if she's following along, before turning his attention ahead of them. Let's see where this path leads to?

Don't mind the mess, Miyako. It'd be some time until they reach the non-safe areas...]

[Even if the areas so far were relatively safe, Miyako's approach was still slow and methodical. Unarmed and...undressed as she was, she didn't allow herself even a moment of relaxation. Letting her guard down could lead to mistakes, and those mistake would lead to even more mistakes...

And so she slowly makes her way through the path, probably lagging behind at points. She won't call out to Sayo and ask him to slow down unless the distance becomes too great, however. While Miyako isn't adverse to asking for help, there is still the Hotsuin pride and stubbornness to account for.]

[They draw nearer towards the unsafe areas. Sayo looks ahead and spy the silhouette of a monstrous looking thing in a patient's garb. One of the angry cthulhu patients that can be seen prowling around, their limbs moving and and examining whatever they can touch.]
