[So. Yamato killed sayo. That was bad. Sayo had also helped Yamato train while he was blind, and that helped him stand a chance for longer against the Murdercru(tm). Aaaaand it was no secret he was endeared to the stabby little small, so he was feeling pretty bad about the whole. Murder. Thing.
So even with Cerealia falling down around them, Yamato still managed to drag a huge bonsai persimmon tree into the Samonji room at swordhaus. By himself. Somehow. This one has a simple little note tied to one of the branches that just says 'sorry.' in scrawled, messy handwriting.
For good measure, there's also a smaller one sitting in another part of the room. This one's also got a note that says 'thanks.'
As if that wasn't enough, there's a super tiny one, too. No note. No reason. He just thought it was cute and it reminded him of Sayo, so clearly he had to have it.]
