[And Sayo's about to run off to hug someone else when he sees them, if it wasn't for Kashuu's hand. Thanks, uchibro.]

[He's got Sayo's back, hell yeah. His grip tightens a little when he feels Sayo start to move, just in case.]

Yeah, laughing. Like full-on laughing. Like "ha ha ha!!"

[But he feels a strong urge to hug that dead looking guy...!]

He actually laughed like that?

[Sayo's stuck on that point. Because, well... the hugging is something he's dealing with right now. And he can kind of leave it if Taroutachi's just chuckling. But full on laughter? THAT'S surprising. He's trying to imagine it...]

I can't see it.

[The oodachi was always so... detached and stoic?! He's not as close to him compared to his bond with similiarly stoic Kousetsu.]

[Don't hug the dead-looking guy, Sayo!!]

Yeah, I couldn't either. [...] Even when it was happening.

[It was a really surreal experience, is what he means. Watching Taroutachi slowly approach while laughing loudly had been an experience he'd have rather not gone through and one he probably won't be able to forget.]

[He looks so huggable, tho!!]

...Did he hug you?

[Please tell him so he can try and imagine. And... well, not really laugh. It's still too surreal to even hear about.]

[TUGGING HIM ALONG down the hall, let's go, let's go--]

Yeah. Yeah, and it was baaasically as uncomfortable as it sounds like it'd be.

[Mostly because of the laughing, but also because Taroutachi is huge and kind of a stiff, awkward sword.]

[The further away they go, the weaker the hugging urge seems to get? Until Sayo no longer can see that dead looking guy and he stops trying to go after him.]

Did he ever stop?

[Or is Taroutachi still at large, laughing and hugging all in his reign of terror?]

[Oh, good! That means Kashuu has a decent method of saving Sayo from further traumatizing himself.]

Eventually, yeah. But it was still waaay too long and super, super creepy. ...You still seeing weird stuff?

[Sayo pauses and blinks. His vision seems to be... shifting? He looks up at Kashuu's dead face, watching as his vision seems to be changing. Until Kashuu's lively, brighter self stands there before him, instead of his dead, broken form.]

...no?

[He blinks again, before rubbing his eyes. A trick or did he return to normal?]

[He glances back over when the "yes" shifts to a "no", brow arching curiously.]

No? What, did it clear up?

[Seems to be the case, given the abrupt change and the fact that Sayo is rubbing his eyes.]

[He lowers his hands and slowly nods.]

Yes. You look normal again to me.

[Thank goodness. It's getting rather awkward walking with a dead corpse.]

[Kashuu could only imagine... Not that he willingly would. But he can see the relief there, and so he reaches out with his free hand to ruffle Sayo's hair.]

So it didn't last super long, right? Not bad, not bad.

[Sayo blinks at the hair ruffling. But since Kashuu looks, well, normal and alive to him, he feels a little better about receiving it.]

I'm glad... I don't want to see our comrades dead if it last longer.

[...Man, people do like to ruffle his hair a lot, huh. Wait, since this is ViViD, his hair would look normal back in the real world.]

[He's just got a very ruffle-able head, apparently.]

It probably woulda stopped as soon as we left, anyway.

[Just don't mess up his ponytail too much. Souza tied it up for him.]

Maybe. But I don't trust it.

[He never trust anything that CERES can possibly fool around with. Even if they didn't, he's not the most trusting sword around.]

[He's careful with the ponytail, of course! Hair rufflings shouldn't come at the cost of style.]

Probably smart of you. [He isn't surprised; Sayo's always suspicious... But it's actually usually well-earned in this stupid city.]

Anyway, if you're better now, let's get out of here.

[He nods. After everything so far, he doesn't think staying around longer for possible information is worth the trouble.]
